I decided to go on a great adventure! I really needed one. I haven't been traveling like this for a very long time so I thought that I was due. So, where else to go? Back to SE Asia, duh. So I made my plans and packed my bags and I was off. I left Wisconsin on March 13, 2012 and arrived in Bangkok at about 12:30a.m. on March 15, 2012. That trip is the worst part. It is kind of horrible traveling for more than 24 hours. But, that is the price I guess. So I made it to Bangkok!!! Only had two nights in Bangkok including the night I arrived. So, really only one day. I had been to Bangkok before and had a chance to see most of the sights. So, I decided to hop on a river taxi and see some things that maybe I had not seen before. Here are some photos of the Bangkok adventure. Mostly I just went to Wat Arun, and I did go back to the Reclining Buddha, because it's pretty cool. It was HOT!!! I mean HOT!!! It was 99 degrees with almost 100% humidity the day I ventured out. I think maybe I'm the only one that sweats in Bangkok. I was soaked from sweat. I notice other people and nothing. I wonder if I have a weird sweat problem? Maybe. But I spent the whole day exploring Bangkok again. Sometimes I would get some water and a bag of mango's and sit in the shade. That was nice. I ended my day at a tiny restaurant on the river having a couple beers and some dinner. I loved my dinner. Anyway, here are some photos if you want to see them. Next post, on to Luang Prabang, Laos!
